Birthday Wishes

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The challenge site was called Fabulous Stationary. This was my inspiration piece. We have a lot of Birthday's in the next few weeks in our family, so now I really need to focus on making birthday cards! The paper and ribbon are from The Paper Source, I also used a Martha Stewart border punch and Quickutz Circle dies. The pretty birthday sentiment is from Verve.

Every month the i {heart} papers design team has a challenge. This month the challenge was to use the new My Mind's Eye Be Loved or Love Me Do kits. I decided to go with the Be Loved kit, I love the colors in this paper kit! The theme for this challenge was called Eat, Drink and Be Merry, I went with the drinks! The sentiment and glasses are from the Hero Arts Best Wishes set, aslo available at IHP. I also used the Martha Stewart Loop punch and Hero Arts Prisma Glitter. The punched heart is from the Be Loved kit.

Stop by and see what all the other design team members came up with!

Finally!

I am finished with my holiday cards! I have been putting this off for weeks and trying to come up with a card that did not have a lot of layers and bulk, but were still fun and festive. Thanks to Kate, at i {heart} papers, I finally was inspired after she sent me an adorable card using this Petallo Dazzler snowman....Thanks Kate!

To make this card I cut an oval in the center of the cardstock, then cut a larger oval in red and placed it on the inside of the card. The scallop was made using two nesties together and then cut in the wizard. I also used the Swiss Dots cuddlebug folder, white gel pen, and ribbon!

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #27

Welcome to Treehouse Thursday Challenge #027! Today's challenge was to make a tag of any theme. I chose to make a holiday tag using the newly released Cool Wishes set. My adorable penguin is colored with copic markers, his hat is from my stash (sorry I do not know where this is from). The scalloped card is from Jillibean Soup, and the ribbon is May Arts.

When you upload your card to SCS, PCP, and your blog make sure and use the keyword THT027. We hope you can come play along with us this week.
