i {heart] Papers DT Challenge

Every Month the i {heart} papers design team has a challenge. This months challenge was to make a project that was fashion inspired. I decided to use this years 2010 Macy's window display as my inspiration. I know I am pushing the rules a bit, but Macy's and fashion do go together, right! The window theme was Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus, with the word Believe on everything Macy's this year. Here is a link from Macy's and here is my project:

I used one of the clear storage boxes to make my window scene. I stamped the word Believe with staz-on ink on the outside of the box and used some bakers twine to hang the stars.

Here is everything I used:

Clear acetate box, bakers twine, spellbinders oval die, cuddlebug snowflake embossing folder, red and white cardstock, star punch, word window punch, glitter.

Check out what the other design team members made:

As usual you have created a beautiful scene with such elegant style. Who wouldn't love to receive chocolate in such a creative way. You blow me away with your creativity!

On Cathleen! What a darling way to package those chocolate goodies! Yum! The clear box is so lovely -but I think I could be convinced to open it to get the chocolate! :)

OMGosh!! I love this! Too bad I am far away from home or I would make a few up with my stash of clear boxes! At least I have an idea for some spring and summer ones though!
